Even with a short week this week it already feels like it should be Friday.

I had both my AirPods Pros replaced due to the crackling issue so now I get to have fun turning off auto-connecting on all my devices except my phone since it never works right.

My crush on Maya Rudolph has only intensified after listening to her on You Made it Weird with Pete Holmes. She’s so silly and fun.

Microsoft AutoUpdate is doing the thing where it just launches to check for updates and finds none multiple times throughout the day again.

I’m pretty satisfied with Apple Music. They don’t have nearly as many user-generated playlists as other services, but I can live with that. I cannot live with Apple inserting ads into Apple Music.

I’ve had Microsoft AutoUpdate launch twice today on its own to check for updates and it hasn’t found any updates either time.

I completely agree with this. I no longer purchase digital comics because the Comixology experience is awful. THE MERGING OF COMIXOLOGY AND KINDLE HAS CREATED A HELL I’D LIKE TO ESCAPE.

Every time I’m at my parent’s house NCIS is on. Doesn’t matter the time or day. I absolutely hate it. It’s such a bad show.

I’ve never watched a Star Trek series until today. I absolutely love all the characters in Strange New Worlds. 📺

I’m officially hooked on The Offer.

Found a new fitted Browns cap. Fitted caps choices are not what they used to be. fitted browns cap

The AirPods Max may be the most comfortable over the ear headphones I’ve ever worn. I would still not pay that much for headphones.

HBO had some great original movies back in the day. Loved The Rat Pack, but my favorite was RKO281, which you may be able to find on a used DVD if you’re lucky.

Switched one of my domain’s email to Proton now that I have the upgraded mail service. They really do make it simple to switch.

My favorite movie with Ray Liotta will always be Field of Dreams. Goodfellas is a very close second. 🍿

Network of Cities and Towns Revealed by Lidar

I love how much there is to still learn about past civilizations and how much there is more to discover.

An airborne lidar survey recently revealed the long-hidden ruins of 11 pre-Columbian Indigenous towns in what is now northern Bolivia. The survey also revealed previously unseen details of defensive walls and complex ceremonial buildings at 17 other settlements in the area, built by a culture about which archaeologists still know very little: the Casarabe.

Ars Technica has more detail on how lidar revealed networks of pre-Columbian cities and towns in Bolivia.

I’m pretty sure Universal Control has gotten worse in the latest iPadOS update. There have been so many times where I can’t get the curser back to my Mac without violently shaking my mouse so that it, hopefully and eventually, gets to where I need it.
