I created a Sports Movies virtual channel in Channels and Blue Chips is on. That is such a good movie.
My mouse died and I had to charge it in the middle of a meeting. I love my mouse, but hate how it charges. (Thanks, Apple).
I’m so excited for MLS to start back.
I migrated my media servers off my 2012 Mac Mini and onto a cheap Windows 11 mini pc. The migration was relatively smooth. I did have to manually tag a bunch of TV shows in Channels for some reason. I’m not sure why that data didn’t come over in the backup.
iCloud Keychain using over 800mb of memory on a Windows machine that doesn’t have passwords and Keychain sync turned on. Fun.
My 2012 Mac Mini is barely hanging on. I use it as a Plex and Channels server, and that’s pretty much it. I really don’t want to spend the money on a new Mac to replace it. It may be time to check out one of those cheap mini PCs.
Don’t forget the He Gets Us Jesus people also fund terrorists.
Today’s record is A Tribe Called Quest’s Anthology.
New record.
I may have to purchase this.
I watched some of the UK Ghosts a while back and enjoyed it. I never gave the US version a shot until today and it is delightful.
Carl Weathers was a huge part of the Saturday and Sunday movie matinees on the local TV stations. RIP.
I have never intentionally grouped tabs in Edge.
My parents are downsizing and moving to a villa. It will be weird to not go visit them in the house where I spent my high school and college break years. Their new place is like half the distance from me now, which is great. Can’t wait to find a good bike route to them.
At least once a week my Ecobee thermostat drops from WiFi and I have to spend 10 minutes getting it back on (it NEVER works the first try). Getting a little tired of it.
My Instagram feed is just dog pictures, videos, and memes now. I’m not complaining.
Received my Logitech ergonomic keyboard today. So far, I don’t like it nearly as much as the Sculpt, but it will have to do for now. I really don’t like having a number pad attached. My mouse feels too far away now.
Now playing Monk’s Dream by Thelonious Monk.
My iPhone randomly disconnects from my wifi and I can’t figure out why. I’ll be in the same room, 5 feet from the access point and it will drop wifi. Tried forgetting the network to no avail. When it happens, it happens off and on for an entire day before it goes away for a week or so.
I was planning on using my old Magic Keyboard that’s plugged into my Mac Mini as a backup until a new keyboard arrives on Wednesday. I unplugged it from the Mini and saw that the back had popped off from an expanded battery. Fun.
