I’ve had a flat tire on my bike for a few weeks now. Things have been so busy in life and work that I haven’t had the time to get it fixed. I’m finally getting it fixed tomorrow and I cannot wait. I miss riding it for stress relief and all my errands.
I discovered Liz Miele on YouTube today and she is hilarious. Loved her The Ghost of Academic Future special.
I discovered a weird iOS/Messages bug. If you delete an unread message from the Messages app on one device you’ll still have a badge on other devices with no way to remove it unless you restore the deleted message and mark it as read.
By the way, if you hate what Amazon did to Comixology, maybe check out Omnibus for your indie comics needs.
I quit using Comixology when they moved the store to Amazon and you could no longer find anything. Not surprising that the app is now shutting down for the far inferior Kindle app.
I love when Corridor Crew finds scenes in older movies that uses long forgotten technology that has since been replaced by traditional CGI. So fascinating.

I’m doing a Psych rewatch and I forgot how good the writing on this show was. The jokes are so good.
The Max app is nothing but reality TV now. No wonder they are bleeding subscribers. It was once a good app/service.

Action Button Pro looks like a nifty little app that allows you to customize the Action Button on the iPhone 15 Pros. I may have to play around with this.

There have been two updates to Outlook for the Mac and one update to Teams for the Mac since they broke integration between the two (joining a meeting from reminders/calendar in Outlook). It’s still broken.

St. Louis City SC had a remarkable inaugural season. I’m disappointed they didn’t make it to the next round, but let’s be honest, everyone’s expectations were low for them this season. To do what they did was amazing. ⚽️

Youtube has a feature where it tries to resume a video you were playing on one device on a new device. It never works for me and I see no way to disable it. I’m constantly stuck with the same video I already watched reappearing over and over as if I want to resume it every time I launch the app.
“New” Teams sucks so bad. One coworker can’t receive Teams calls because it just forwards to her voicemail. Earlier, it wouldn’t take me out of “Presenting” mode after a call ended until I restarted the app. What a joke.
If Apple is going to sell a brand new device that only charges to 80% by default to “optimize battery life”, then their battery claims are complete bullshit and their numbers should be based on that 80%. Side note, it’s 9:30 AM and my brand new Watch series 9 charge is already at 67%.
