Status
While I didn’t love season 4 of Stranger Things, there were some really good performances by some of the kids.
Here’s my review of Stranger Things season 4. Let’s all stand around watching bad things happen for 5 minutes before jumping into action. And we’ll do that for every scene making each scene go on for entirely way too long.
I have 2 more episodes of Stranger Things to watch. With these episode lengths, I should be done by next Tuesday.

So many 90s sitcoms had 1950s themed episodes or locales because the writers rooms were filled with middle-aged white dudes nostalgic for the past. Boy Meets World, Saved by the Bell, 90210, Step by Step.
Nostalgia is a drug and I’m addicted. Adding Pod Meets World to my podcast subscriptions.
Some of these same corporations are now offering to cover fees to safely abort in states that allow it. Maybe they shouldn’t have supported fascists to begin with. But what are human rights when there’s sweet tax breaks, right?

I played Fall Guys on the Switch over the weekend. I only played in handheld mode and the frame rate for other players movements was really bad (but mine was fine), but it was still a fun game.

Found some Celtic history books at HPB today at lunch. Looks to be a good start for general history.
It’s amazing that iOS 16 is just months away and they still haven’t fixed disappearing widgets in iOS 15.
I watched the new Doctor Strange. I enjoyed the first one very much. That’s all I’ll say about the second one. 🍿
Most of my history studies revolved around Pre-Columbian Latin America and the rise of business in early 20th century in US, Great Britain and Japan. I’d really like to learn more about pre-historic western Europe, Gaul, Celts, etc. No idea where to start.
I will never understand the success or longevity of the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
Fall Guys for the Switch is out and word from users is that it’s not good. That’s disappointing because I was interested in playing. It’s FTP, so I may still give it a shot.
I got a play.date email today and it got me excited thinking mine shipped. It didn’t. Just saying it’s still on track to ship later this year.
Watch Now on the Apple TV app stopped updating again. So annoying. There needs to be a way to force refresh when that happens.
