I watched two movies on the first day of my vacation. The first was Disclosure Day, which was fine. The second was The Death of Robin Hood. Still not sure what to feel about that one.

Target is basically nothing but celebrity brands now. Go to the men’s grooming aisle and normal soaps and shampoos are relegated to a couple of low shelves, taking up 1/10 of aisle space. The Rock’s shampoo brand has a full half aisle though. He’s bald.

New Siri is good, but would make it great is if it could do what I tell it to using Apple’s own tools. I’d like to describe a focus modes and have it create it for me.

I’ve had an idea for a game for the Playdate for a while. I started it tonight. I’m hoping I can make some real progress on it while I’m on vacation next week.

A pixelated helicopter hovers between two buildings with trees under a sun and clouds, accompanied by the title CRANKLIFTER. A game in development for the playdate.

Another one built. My YouTube subscriptions the way I want to see them.

A video streaming platform interface displaying sports highlights, a person's reaction video titled Not interested, and a series of reaction thumbnails.

I built one completely new website this weekend, Sports on TV Now, and redesigned three other sites, moving two of them off WordPress. Safe to say it was a productive weekend.

Scratching an Itch with AI

When I’m working or listening to podcasts I still like to have something playing on a screen somewhere, whether it be a TV or an iPad. Sometimes it’s reruns of Seinfeld, Saved by the Bell, or other shows and movies and sometimes it’s sports. It used to be fairly easy, at least on the Apple TV, to see what sports were currently airing. Since they added F1 to the Apple TV app, they no longer give Sports its own tab. You can still get to Sports, it’s just slower with more clicks. Also, the interface to browse the current sports wasn’t the best either.

I’ve been searching for a site that would display the sports airing that day since Apple made the changes to the Apple TV app. Most of the options I found were either full of ads, looked bad, and had stale data. Enter AI.
