I think it’s hilarious that every league with a Fanatics deal has “A Fanatics Experience” on their store as if that’s a selling point and not a warning. How long before they try rebranding a la Comcast or Charter? If I see Fanatics on the store I immediately know it’s shit quality and to not buy.
I missed this when it originally aired. Time to rectify that. Now watching A Grammy Salute to 50 Years of Hip Hop.
Switched to Hidden Bar away from Bartender. I think it may be my replacement now that Bartender has a mysterious new owner.
The frustration with Apple’s software is hitting an all-time high lately. If I muted a messages thread on my phone, why the fuck would I want to hear it on my iPad, Apple? A million little papercuts.
Now playing: Maya Hawke - Chaos Angel.
I think I really like the new Maya Hawke album.
Each new day brings a new Qdoba email despite unsubscribing the day before. What a time to be alive.
On this date in 1922, the Cubs and Cardinals traded outfielders between games of a doubleheader and both played each game, one for each team. Cardinals got Max Flack for Cliff Heathcote.
I love seeing all the Angel Hernandez memes circulating since his retirement was announced. My favorite is “he finally got the right call.”
I really need to get backup internet with how frequently Spectrum goes down.
Never believe an LG washing machine when it says it has 2 minutes left. 6 minutes later I still have a minute left.
Now listening to Snoop Doggy Dogg - Doggystyle.
So you have to watch today’s Cardinals game on Roku but there is no Apple TV app for Roku. Great job, MLB. Guess I won’t watch those games.
Saw Brett Goldstein last night at The Fox. It was a funny show. The Fox was beautiful, as it always is.
The Chiefs’ billionaire owners, who just asked the citizens of Kansas City to fund a new stadium, are doubling down on bigotry. Cool.
“Apple refuses to do cellular Macs.” I listen to a lot of tech podcasts, pretty much all of them focused on Apple tech and Marco is literally the only one that continues to bang this drum on ATP. Apple “refuses” to do it because it’s more likely very few people care.
Old guy outside yelling into his phone, “Siri, who is Caitlin Clark’s team playing tonight?”
Siri didn’t know but I love that he asked.
New hat. Hey Nong Man.
The new HomePod Mini I’m setting up for my mom is on iOS 15.6. How long ago was this thing manufactured?
The Cardinals are a disaster. Can’t wait to see the response to their streaming option next year. Who would want to watch?
